Teaching Chemistry with Charisma

Keeping students actively engaged in chemistry can sometimes be a challenge. Enroll in Teaching Chemistry with Charisma and you’ll learn new ways to put the “wow” into your lessons. Based on our newest book, Chemistry with Charisma, this course highlights engaging, hands-on lessons that use toys and everyday objects and encourage students to think like scientists. Participants receive a free copy of the book and some materials.

At the second meeting on Oct. 17, 2009, participants will make real world career connections to the activities in the Charisma book by attending the Putting Science to Work session. Meet and chat with scientists and other professionals and see how easy it is to highlight how science concepts are used in the workplace.
